As soon as the door opened, Charlie saw Julie reach in and grab his hand.
"I said not to ..." He braced himself, as their skin made contact. But nothing happened.
"Mom," Julie said. "I know you're not sick. You were fine a few minutes ago."
The sky must have flashed green while he was in the bathroom. So, that meant that he was stuck in the mother's body.
"Mom?" the mother's daughter asked. "Are you okay? You seem ... different."
"Of course I'm okay ... uh ... sweetie," Charlie said. Then he walked down the hall, leaving a slightly confused Julie behind. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but somehow her mom seemed different than usual.
