As Jason got closer to his car, he saw a figure standing at the edge of the theater's lawn. He wasn't really sure what it was, but it kind of held the shape of a person. When he got to his car, he was close enough to get a better look at the figure.
He thought that maybe it was because he was tired and the fact that he just got done watching a movie about ghosts, but that figure really did look like an apparition. He could see straight through it, as though it were translucent. And it was a person, more specifically a woman. She was dressed in something more akin to the 1960's than present day and she seemed to have a sort of white glow about her. Was it really a ghost? Jason shook his head, thinking that it really was his imagination and nothing else.
He got into his car and started the engine. He could still see the ghostly woman through his windshield. She just stood there. It was eerie. Especially since she seemed to be looking directly at Jason.
Then he blinked, and she was gone. He looked from left to right, but no one was there. He grabbed his head and laughed. Him and his silly imagination. But that's what he got, he supposed, for watching a scary movie so late at night.
He put the car in drive and was about to release the brake, when suddenly a woman's voice said "Help me." It was coming from his right, in the passenger seat. He turned to look, immediately after hearing the voice. And he screamed when he saw the ghostly woman sitting in the car right next to him.
