While Jason looked for a spiked collar to wear from Steve's dresser, he heard a noise behind him. He quickly spun around to see that Steve wasn't dead!
He was moving.
Jason slowly walked towards him, unsure of what was happening. When he got close enough to lean over him, Steve's eyes flew open and looked directly at Jason.
"You're still alive?"
Seeing that Steve wouldn't be able to answer because of his gag, Jason removed it. When he did, he saw that Steve had vampire fangs. Was it possible that Jason had inadvertently turned Steve into a vampire? He thought he was just feeding on him. He had no idea that he was doing something else and there was no intention involved, not on any level of his consciousness. He hated Steve and wished him to be nothing other than dead.
But now, his feelings about that were different. He still had no idea why, but he didn't hate Steve. In fact, he liked him. It kind of scared him how his opinion of Steve had changed in just a short time.
"What happened? What did you do to me?" Steve asked.
"I apparently made you a vampire," Jason answered.
"A vampire?" Steve felt the inside of his mouth with his tongue and immediately felt the fangs that weren't there earlier. "I have fangs."
"That's right."
Steve looked at Jason and said "Why are you wearing my clothes?"
"I like them."
Steve's eyes drifted towards the leather skirt Jason was wearing and then to his own skirt and an expression of distaste fell across his face. He didn't know why, but suddenly he didn't like wearing his leather skirts.
"Take it off," he said, nodding towards his skirt.
"You want me to take your skirt off? Why?"
"I don't like it. Take it off."
Jason didn't do as he asked, but he did untie Steve's hands from the bed posts so Steve could do it himself.
He immediately took his skirt off and swapped it for a pair of black leather pants he found in his closet.
"That's more like it," he said, still not understanding why he hated wearing his skirts all of a sudden.
Jason noticed his discomfort and wondered if it was related to his own. Could it be that when he "turned" Steve that they also exchanged certain feelings and desires? Suddenly, it seemed as though Jason (who had no interest whatsoever in the gothic lifestyle) had totally gone Goth and Steve had become less Goth. Did this happen to all vampires? A sort of mental exchange? Jason had no way of knowing. Up until Narayanne turned him, he didn't even think vampires actually existed.
