In Wilmington Raymond Jones was having different problems. Agent
Steward was helping Ray explain things to his wife. Mrs. Jones sat at the
table with the petite young woman and the FBI agent. Stewart, not
introducing the young woman, started things off awkwardly, "Mrs. Jones I
am aware you husband has been missing a few days. What I am about to tell
you will explain your husband's disappearance. What I am about to explain
will seem incredible. Also I must have you sign this nondisclosure
certificate before we proceed." Reading over the agreement Mrs. Johns
nervously joked, "you make it sound like my husband was abducted by
aliens." Steward started by asking a few questions about what she had
observed about Mr. Verdoun's behavior. Mrs. Jones said she was
temporarily acting as Mr. and Mrs. Verdoun's council and could not make
such comments. He asked her to listen to his observations and hold
comment until he finished. Steward explained how Mr. Verdoun keep
insisting he was William Simmons. He explained the fact that Simmons was
on the train and how it was believed that Verdoun's body was thrown from
the train. He told her of Simmons dead body in being found in Savannah.
He then explained about how Verdoun was the only one present in his office
when the body of the main line axe murderer was strangled. Sara offered
many objections to that Idea. Steward postponed that argument for a bit and
went backward through the whole legacy of blood called the domino
murders. He went back to the incidence in Verdoun's office and explained
that Verdoun was alone in the office with the axe murderer. He then
explained that he did not believe Mr. Verdoun was a murderer. But he did
believe Mr. Verdoun was a murder victim.

Steward's statement caused a strained pause in the conversation. An
incredulous Sara Jones asked what other evidence do you have that this sort
of thing is even possible before you start telling such tall tails to poor Susan.
Steward took a deep breath and reintroduced Raymond Jones to her wife.
Sara questioned and cross-examined the "alleged Raymond Jones" holding
back anger at the incredible amount of intimate detail this strange woman
knew about her and her husband. One of the few things that kept here from
strangling this woman on the spot was her lack of knowledge of some of her
husband's worst bedtime offences (Ray was blind to that prespective). At least this bitch had not slept with her
husband. Sara was sure Ray had at least coached her but this was well
beyond any practical joke and that FBI form would not make this
conversation admissible in a mental crusty divorce.

Ray was getting desperate Sara was as stubborn as he was. He turned the
subject from bed to business. After a bit she was yelling at him about always
hiding behind his wall of technobable and trying to turn every perfectly good
argument into a negotiation. Finally she conceded that this women seated
across from her might be her husband. Ray went on to tell her what he
remembered of the last four days.

Stewart returned to the commiserating couple. He had made himself absent
when things started getting personal. After a bit he interrupted. He asked
them for help with a few things like what to tell Susan Verdoun. And what
to tell Holly's parents. He also told them about the Black Muslim
bodyguards surrounding Mrs. Simmons to protect her from the police
conspiracy. Sara agreed to help break the news to Susan. Ray said he was
not sure of anything about what Hunter had done with Holly. Sara came up
with the idea of explaining to Holly's parents that she was doing secret work
for the government in an effort to kill the missing persons problem. Stewart
said he could not get that one to float with the current federal government
hiring freeze so he would work it out through the witness protection
program.
