Sally cackled gleefully as she looked for her next victim. Suddenly, she felt like someone was sneaking up on her. Turning quickly, she found herself face to face with Marvin.
Marvin was a very nervous little boy. He had messy red hair, thick glasses and a bit of a paunch. He looked absolutely awestruck. "How did you do those things, Sally?"
Sally blinked, amazed that Marvin wasn't frightened by her power. He was the only kid in class that never made fun of her, and she almost considered him a friend. "I have magical powers now, Marvin. Wanna see?" She pointed the wand at Tina, a little blonde girl who once pushed her off of a swingset. "Abracamitten, be a kitten!"
Tina froze in her tracks as she began to shrink and change before their eyes. Her frightened shouts soon turned to a high-pitched yowling as she became a tiny grey kitten. Marvin was impressed. "Wow, that's neat. Can I try?"
Sally held the wand out to Marvin, but she remembered what the lady had told her when she gave her powers, and quickly pulled it from his reach. "Umm.. I don't think that's a good idea."
Marvin's disappointed frown lasted only a moment before he grinned once again. Aside from the animals and the baby, they were now completely alone in the room. "So, what are you going to do now?"
Sally turned to face him once again. "I think I'll go try this on my family..."
"Ooh! Sounds great! Can I come?" Marvin said enthusiastically. "I think this is really cool! I had this dream once where--"
"Abracawhirl, be a girl!"
Marvin's eyes went wide as he felt his body tingle all over. After a second, his clothes felt baggy, his vision was blurry, and he could feel something tickling his neck. Taking off his glasses, he noticed his hands weren't pudgy anymore. He also noticed that he didn't need the glasses. "What happened?" Marvin said, coughing a little after hearing how high his voice was.
Sally grinned. "Sorry, I don't hang out with boys. But look at it this way, you're cute. Now..." she said with a grin, "Let's go back to my house..."
