Uncertain what else to do, he slowly walked to his car and put the disconcertingly familiar mannequin parts into the trunk. As he did, that weird cold tingle came across him again, meaning he was changing. But there weren't any statues around! Just the mannequin parts in his trunk ...
"Oh no!" he yelled out. It was the last thing he was able to say before his transformation.
Ten minutes later, a woman screamed when she saw the chopped up bits of a man, laying on the ground next to a car. There were two legs, a torso, and two armless hands. There was no blood, and when the cops finally came, they deduced that the man was killed elsewhere and his body parts were taken to the car. Perhaps someone was trying to put them in the trunk of the car, to hide them. But why would they have stopped? Where did they go? And why was there a mannequin from a sports shop already in the trunk?
They assumed that the owner of the car was somehow involved with the murder. So they put out an APB on Roberto, not realizing that the body parts belonged to him.
After the crime scene investigation was over, Rob's body parts were sealed up in plastic and taken back to the police station, as evidence.
