Baylie stumbled as hei made hys way over to Matilda’s station as Brittanie followed close behind. Hei still wasn’t used to walking in heels and hei was sure that hei got a few looks from the other bois as hei crossed the salon floor.
“Hi Brittanie!” The stylist greeted them bubbly as the two bois approached. Matilda was an older boi, probably around college age. That’s if bois go to college in this world, Baylie thought to hymself as hei examined the boi. Like every other boi in the salon, hei had wavy, waist-length blonde hair that was styled so that it cascaded over one shoulder, and hei wore a pink outfit. About the only thing that meaningfully separated Matilda from anyone else here was that hys skin was slightly darker.
“So, what are we doing today?” hei asked as hei patted the light grey leather chair, indicating that one of them should sit down. “I thought that you were only here the other day?” Hei tilted his head, hys locks softly hanging and swishing.
“Uh-huh,” Brittanie nodded, placing an arm around Baylie’s shoulders. “This is my cousin Baylie… Hei’s visiting from out of town, and hei needs, like, a serious makeover.” Hei lifted Baylie’s wig and revealed hys short, black hair.
“Oh my Goddess!” Matilda practically screamed, causing everyone in the salon to look over and gasp. “You have gurl hair!”
“Um, yeah…” Brittanie began as hei dug a note out of hys purse. “It’s kind of hard to explain, so my mom wrote a note. Shi works with Dr. McMillan at McMillan Tech.” Hei handed Matilda the note and as the boi read, Baylie’s shocking reveal had caused quite a stir in the salon and one of the other stylists had come over to investigate.
“So it’s a part of some kind of experiment?” Matilda asked once hei had read the note.
Brittanie nodded. “Yeah, and unfortunately, there were a few side effects, like the loss of Baylie’s hair, which is why we had hym wear a wig.”
Matilda placed hys hands on hys hips.
“Wow! You’re a brave boi volunteering for an experiment like that. I don’t think that I could do anything like that, especially if it meant ruining my beautiful hair.” Hei ran a hand through hys golden locks. Hei turned and looked at the other stylist.
“Melina, it looks like this is gonna be a long session… You’d better cancel my other bookings and get me everything I need.” Turning to Baylie, hei sighed and steeled hymself for what was about to happen. “This is gonna be some kinda record, boi.”
