At first it was awkward walking on all fours, but after a few minutes, Rob got the hang of it.
He walked back to the storefront window where he had switched with the mannequin with the white evening gown just minutes earlier. He had to stand on his rear two legs to get a better look into the window, and when he did, he saw that the mannequin that looked like him and wore his clothes was still there, fortunately.
He stared at the mannequin, thinking that it would just change him back, but nothing happened. Was there no way back?
"Hey! Get outta here," a man said, before kicking Rob away from the window. It really hurt, so he turned and growled at the man.
"Is it rabid?" asked a woman, who stood nearby. Down the street a ways, a cop approached them.
Uh oh, Rob thought. Maybe I should get out of here. I don't want to end up in the city pound.
