Carl quickly scanned the page next to the bookmark, it was describing the exploits of the swashbuckling hero, a muscle-bound hunk. This might not be so bad thought Carl.
It was however, with some dismay that he noticed the next page was describing the rescue of a beautiful maiden by the hero.
