"Now, how are things, Mr. Tate?" Dr. Wendell (the base psychiatrist) asked, walking into the sickbay. "Mr. Tate?" He looked all over the room, but Tate wasn't there. Wendell hit the intercom attached his lab coat and told Avery that he thought that Tate may have escaped and was on the loose. Avery assured him that Tate couldn't have escaped, that the door was impossible to open from the inside. The doctor did another visual sweep of the room and confirmed that Tate really was no longer there.

Avery sighed. Her stress level was already high with the disappearance of Fianna, and now she had to deal with an escaped mental patient. She grabbed her forehead and rubbed it. Tate must have just cracked. But she never saw the signs. It was so sudden.

The security alarm sounded. A loud whooping noise could be heard all around the base, hopefully scaring Tate into surrendering himself.

But Tate was no longer in the base. In fact, he was nowhere even near the base.


"Where am I?" Tate asked, as the darkness slowly faded away, revealing a lush garden, but not the garden where Zeus kidnapped Fianna.

Aphrodite stood up on an altar and peered down on Tate, who was no longer wearing his jumpsuit, but rather a toga, in a very Greek mythology-like style. She smirked at him, then waved her hand. Tate collapsed to the ground, as an intense pain shot through him.

"I told you. Do not speak until you are spoken to," she said, sternly. Then her smile reappeared.

Tate looked up. He kept reminding himself that he was doing this for Fianna, but the more he was subjugated to the mercy of Aphrodite, the more he felt that maybe he made the wrong choice. Or at least picked the wrong goddess to help him.

Tate took a deep breath as the pain melted away.

Aphrodite continued to smile as she walked down from the altar. "This place is ..."
