The next moment, Jack found himself in a bed, in a bedroom he didn't recognize. All his fears about becoming a girl were laid to rest, as the bedroom he was in definitely belonged to a guy. But from the looks of it, Jack figured that it was the room of a teenager. He shrugged, thinking it wasn't so bad. He himself was a teenager just a few years ago. But, of course, he wasn't just reliving his own life. This life belonged to someone else.

He pulled the covers off of himself, seeing that he was just an ordinary teenage boy. He was hoping for a little more muscle mass, but all in all it wasn't too bad. At least he wasn't ugly.

He stood up and looked around the room, seeing a few photos of a brown-haired boy posing with a redhead girl. She was kind of cute, in a tomboyish kind of way. He turned and looked at a mirror, realizing that the boy in the photos was him. And as he was checking himself out, there suddenly came a scream.

Thinking it might be either Mark or Jill, he ran out of the bedroom, only in his underwear, and into the room next door. Immediately, he was disturbed by the gothic appearance of this room. There was just way too much black. On the bed sat a Goth girl who was a little younger than the boy Jack was in this new life.

She looked up at him and said "I'm a freak in this new life." Then she began to cry.

That settled it. This girl was either Mark or Jill. But which one?

"Uh ... who are you?" Jack asked.

She looked up and said "Jill. And you?"

"Jack."

"Where's Mark?"

"Right here," they heard a voice say. But it was the voice of a little boy.

They turned and saw a 10-year old boy walk into the room.

Jack almost felt like laughing. Suddenly, it seemed like Mark got the short end of the stick, and not Jill.

"I can't believe I have to grow up all over again," Mark said, with his high-pitched voice.

"What's going on in here?" a woman suddenly asked, walking into the Goth girl's room. They didn't recognize her. "Mikey, go back to your room," she said to Mark.

Mark then pointed to himself, as if saying "Are you talking to me?" Then he shrugged and left the room.

The woman then looked at Jack. "Jon, are you bugging your sister again?"

That must have been his name in this new life. "Uh ... no. She ... uh ... was just yelling and I ... uh ..." How was he going to explain it without mentioning that he wasn't really who she thought he was?

"Go back to your room, Jon. I need to talk with Zoe for a moment," said the woman (who, by now, Jack had figured was the mother of the house).

"Who's Zoe?" Jack asked.

"Stop playing games, Jon," the mother said, this time sounding a little sterner.

Jack took one look at Jill, then went back to his "new" bedroom.

He had to find out more about his new life.
