I don't really have a specific goal for this. I just like the "vibe" of it. As a frequent visitor to aquariums, I do like to try capturing both the wonder and the mundane-ness of these places.
As for Princess trying to remember, I wanted to keep things open to the past. Jon is not forgotten, even if he's...well, forgotten. I liked how you had Princess make the association between stones and her salvation. It gave me the impression that stones could be an important recurring theme for her.
