"What was that," Jack/Jana asked, suddenly aware that he she had been staring at Mandy's leather skirt?
"Why are you staring at my legs like that?"
Jack had never been one to cover his intent well and as Jana, she was even less likely to be subtle.
"Because you're beautiful," Jack/Jana said without thinking.
Mandy could almost see the lust in Jana's eyes as she moved her stare upward to eventually focus on Mandy's pretty wide-eyed face. Mandy and Jana both realized that Jana was not looking at Mandy like a girl looks at another girl, there was something different there.
"Jana...., I."
"Ms. Stevens, I do believe you made a wrong turn," remarked Mrs. Stone from behind Jana. "Now, we will continue to my office, with you leading the way of course."
"Yes Mrs. Stone. I'm sorry".
"Somehow, I believe you will be more so, once we have completed our meeting."
"I'll talk to you later," Mandy mouthed as Jana got to her feet to follow Mrs. Stone out the door.
Now Jana was in a real pickle. She was suppose to lead the way to Stone's office and she had no idea where it was. Just as they exited the classroom, Mrs. Stone's pager sprung to life. She briefly looked at it before motioning to one of the other staff members to join them.
"Escort Ms Stevens to my office, I'll be there shortly," she said as she walked away.
