"Stacey. What do you remember of the party at your place last night?" Jack asked.

"Well lets see..." she brought her hand up to her chin, and thought for a moment. "Most of the football team was there, Peter showed up, along with Angela- they're such a cute couple- Jackie was there, Nina too..." Stacey droned on a bit more, and listed names of all the people who came to her house, but Jack wasn't satisfied.

"No, Stacey, I was thinking more along the lines of, do you remember what I was doing?" Jack asked.

"What? or who?" Stacey added with a laugh.

Jack frowned a bit.

"You know I'm only kidding Jans," Stacey added.

"So?" Jack asked again.

"Boy you must have been really, really drunk if you don't remember," Stacey said.

"Look, this is important, I need to know this Stacey, do you remember what I was doing at the party last night," Jack asked somewhat frantically.

"All I remember was that you were hanging around with Derrick, Matt, and Ralph. They were feeding you beers like there was no tomorrow. It wasn't long after that Michael took me upstairs and we did it," Stacey smiled with pride.

More memories came back to Jack. He remembered that Stacey was infatuated with Michael, the quarterback of the football team. He had this on-again, off-again relationship with one of the cheerleaders, but it must have been off-again if Stacey bedded him last night. The names Derrick, Matt, and Ralph all began come back to him as well- more football players. He didn't know what position they played, Jack hated football he realized, but he knew that Matt and Derrick weren't bad looking. He remembered drinking- ALOT- and he remembered going upstairs too... He rubbed his head to try and remember what else happened but only a few images popped into his head. He was tied to a the headboard of a bed and Derrick, Ralph, and Matt were all there. Jack cringed at the thought.

"Look, Stacey, do you remember me going upstairs with Derrick, Matt, or even Ralph?" Jack asked frantically. He hoped for a moment that Stacey would say no, that it was all a dream, and that none of it had happened.

"Like how am I supposed to know?" Stacey retorted. "I told you, I was upstairs with Michael myself... Although I do remember some girl moaning really loud from one of the neighbouring rooms- it could have been you," Stacey added.

"Could have been," thought Jack to himself- yeah right! It was him. It had to have been. It all became suddenly clear.

"If you really need answers, maybe you should ask Scott, he was the one who brought you into my room after you passed out in my parents' bedroom," Stacey added.

Jack knew that Scott would probably corroborate Stacey's version of the events. Heck, by the sounds of it, he probably did Scott too. Jack was upset. He felt the urge to cry, but tried hard to resist. Under his breath he let out a silent statement: "I'm a slut."

"Whatever," responded Stacey. "You're a girl who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go and get it," Stacey added proudly.

Jack just hung his head down and felt ashamed at that moment.

"What's gotten into you Jana? Suddenly you're feeling guilty?" Stacey continued.

"If I remember correctly, we had this same discussion almost a year ago when I felt upset at sleeping with two guys in two weeks. You rightly told me that I was still a good person, and that there was nothing wrong with me or my actions. Now suddenly you've regressed to this point where I'm lecturing you?"

"I don't know... I just feel bad at the moment Stacey," Jack added.

"Well don't. You're in touch with your needs, and you got what you wanted. What's wrong with that? Besides, today is Friday, finally, and after you're off your shift at Mega Video, you know who is hosting the biggest party of the year?" Stacey asked.

Jack suddenly remembered that Stacey was planning another bash for tonight. Since tonight was Friday, more people should show up than the Thursday evening get together. Add that to the fact that Stacey's parents were still out of town for a few more days and it added up to a whole lot of fun. Jack just looked over at Stacey and smiled a bit. The thought of a party made him happy- it's what he lived for, and offered a sheepish "Thanks for trying Stacey," for her efforts at trying to cheer her up.

The bus finally pulled up in front of the highschool and the two girls got off. Now came the real challenge...
