Karyn was nervous, this was the first time she'd been invited to join the Gibson family ritual. Well, from this side of it that was, she still remembered the week she had to dress in Roger's suit and tie while he usurped her favorite green jumper and identity. Still, she knew how much fun Jon and his family had doing it so was eager to see what all the fuss was about as she grabbed her paper.

That was certainly the big one. Caroline Ellis was the newly elected mayor of their town. The blonde 31 year old was massively popular locally and was rumored to be a shoo in for higher office down the line. Or she had been until her name came out of the hat, as now it was Karyn who had won the hearts and minds of the people of Lake Valley. She pulled out her phone and googled directions to the mayor's mansion, luckily she wasn't afraid of public speaking.
