Mark looked down at the tangle of hair crumpled on the floor in front of him.
"Oh. Sorry. I was looking for my friend--they said he'd be in here, but I must have made a mistake."
Mark made to leave.
Jack, still struggling to get hair out of her face, managed to call out just in time, "Mark, wait!"
Mark stopped and spun on his heels a puzzled look on his face. He looked at the girl in disbelief, "Jack? Is that you?!"
Jack frowned at his friend, who looked much the same as before, with a few improvements here and there, "I'm afraid so. I screwed up a bit!"
"Wow! You said it dude!"
Jack reached out her hand. "Now help me up and let's see what we can do about getting me back into a sensible body!"
Mark grinned and stuck out his arm. "Right-o!"
