Six months has passed since Karyn made her wish and I still can't believe how much she had changed. I still can't believe how much I had changed, and neither of us had changed for the better.
We coudn't figure out how to get Karyn back to normal, so Karyn had to live her life as normally as she could. But her 'normal' life wasn't the same one she had before the wish. Since everyone else remembered her having big boobs and a big cock, Karyn was now popular, instead of her normal self. Boys were drooling over her in the same way they drooled over Sarah McMillan. And going from 'normal' to 'popular' had gone to her head. She started dating more and started hanging out with me less. She stopped asking if I had thought of any ways to get her back to normal about a month after her wish.
And then it happened. Now, neither Karyn nor I were exactly virgins. We both had sex, most of it with each other. We knew the risks and tried to prevent any 'accidents.' But an accident had happened anyways. About two months after the wish, I missed my period. By this point, Karyn was pretty much only hanging out with me when she wanted sex, and I was too depressed to take my pill. Once I was sure that I was pregnant, I went straight to her. She was with her new clique, (to the people of the new reality, her 'old' clique) the girl's softball team. It took me some time to get her away from them and tell her.
"Dammit, Jon," she shouted. "You knew the risks when we had sex! This is your fault, Jon, not mine! You could easily have said no! And why weren't you on the pill? Do you really think that I'm going to support some knocked up boy who couldn't keep his legs together?" She stormed off and rejoined her friends. They walked off as a group, many of the girls glancing back at me and giggling. Karyn had finally turned into Sarah. Sarah had knocked up my best friend Pete and ditched him the same way.
So here I am. Four months pregnant and in the hospital getting an exam. I was starting to show, but hadn't started feeling the baby kick yet. I naturally turned to Pete for support. At least he understands. Pete's currently in his eighth month and we spend all of our time together. He may have been devastated by Sarah's betrayal, just like I was when Karyn ditched me, but I can tell that he enjoys being pregnant and can't wait to be a mother. Since my parents have been busy, Pete's been taking me out to maternity stores for new wardrobes. Now that I'm getting 'bigger,' I'm going to need them.
