He picks on Zoe and Mikey, scrolling through some more options, he landed on "Anyone under Same Age Group" and "Same School"..
Karyn saw what he plans to do. Intrigued by it rather than stopping him..
"Here goes..", he pulls the trigger and suddenly reality began to warp. Objects around them started to alter, even down to their clothes. "God Jon, what is happening?!?", she began to panic as the Gun's changes altered the household tenfold.
"Well... Anyone in the same age group as Mikey switches with Zoe.", he puts plainly. He saw the dining table change to best suit the altered history. The 14 year old Mikey was now all doom and gloom, headset around his neck blaring a faint song from an Emo band. The 8 year old Zoe was wearing a teal flowery dress, she was quite, composed, focused on her food to bother talking to anyone. Linda's state remained just as the same but in a quite mellow and steady mood. Not having a mean daughter is none of her concerns now, it was now just an occasional depressed teen.
"Welp.. that's sorta different.", Karyn commented.
"Then what are expecting?", Jon replied looking at her.
"Something.", Karyn plainly said as she made her way closer to dining table. Jon followed behind.
Karyn went and greeted Linda at the table, the other two siblings didn't bother to care at all. Jon soon followed, began eating up his breakfast. There wasn't much talking since there's none much to talk about aside from school, but certain topics caught Karyn's attention..
As they went out to the living room, heading for the door out. "Jon, that switch.. It isn't just them that changed right?", Karyn asked.
"Well.. How else do you get it?", he said..
"Wait? Anyone at Zoe's age switched with Mikey's?", Karyn wonders right at the right time.. Zoe went and opened the door first and a young Athena in the yard, waiting for Zoe..
Karyn's jaw dropped as Zoe took an exit out to her waiting friend. "Dear mother!! This changes things!!", she was amazed..
The gloomy Mikey went and brushed right by, heading out alone.. Karyn still amazed, her head raising all kinds of questions.
Jon began to think through the next step..
