Ignoring the nagging feeling that there was something he was supposed to do today, Jim slowly drifted back to sleep. And that's when it happened. Usually, Jim could barely remember all of his dreams. But this time, it was so vivid. So real. It's like the man talking to him was right there in the room with him. He couldn't see the man clearly, though. In the near darkness, he could only make out his silhouette. But his voice was so crisp and clear.
He told Jim to listen. That it was very important to listen. That when he awoke, he would have to remember what he told him.
And then a few minutes later, Jim's eyes shot open. He was awake.
