Jim looked down at her pigtails and "Cheerleading Kitten" outfit, shuddering at the thought of being a little girl until after the dance was over.
One of the girls ran up to Jim, smiling. "Hi. What's your name? I've never seen you before."
"Uh, Ji ... Jill," Jim said, changing it to a girl's name.
"When did you join the team?" the girl asked.
Jim looked around, wondering if she could get out of there. She wasn't really a little girl, so she had no idea how to act like one. Why oh why did she have to get so close to these girls?
"Hey, are you listening to me?" the girl asked, shaking Jim's arm.
