Mr Johnson led him downstairs, pointing him to a chair. Jim quickly sat down, but Mr Johnson did not sit.

"Now, Mr Bennet, I want you to understand that this little subterfuge to get close to my daughter will not get you anywhere. She is quite young and innocent, and you will not be changing that."

"I swear, sir, I'm not playing a trick on anyone. If anything, one's being played on me."

"Well," Mr Johnson continued, "I certainly won't have one played on me. We will be clear about who is here, and who is not." With that, he snapped his fingers (and maybe other things that Jim didn't notice), and Jim was back to being Jim. The modest skirt he was wearing, however, was not as tough as the jeans he had been wearing last time it happened, so the button at the top of the skirt burst.

Jim's reaction was probably not quite what Mr Johnson expected, though, as he said, "Thank you, sir. Can you give me a minute to change my clothes?"

"Change your clothes? You brought clothes to fit your real body? You are getting less believable by the minute, Jim."

"Please, give me a minute to duck into the bathroom here, sir, and change, and I'll be happy to explain."

"You have one minute," he threatened Jim.

"Thank you, sir." It's possible that Jim had changed quicker than he did in that bathroom before, but it's quite likely that he hadn't.

"Once again, thank you, sir. I wasn't the one who changed myself like that..."

"Wait a minute," Mr Johnson interrupted. "I see, now, that you weren't."

"I'm sorry, sir, I don't understand."

"I think," Mr Johnson continued, "That it isn't my place to explain this. Do you think you could join Rebecca for her fifth-period class as Kim?"

"I'm not sure, sir. Rick was the one who changed me this morning, and he did it because we had an argument. Normally, I'd be pretty sure that I could convince him to do it, but now, I'm not so certain. And how does joining her for a class have anything to do with this?"

Mr Johnson chuckled, "You'll see. Alright, if you can't, give me a call at this number," he said, handing over a business card, "At 1:10 tomorrow. But let me warn you, do not mess around with my daughter."

"Umm... sir, about that... What would you consider 'messing around'? We have actually been on a couple of dates, and had a really good time on each of them. I haven't been trying to hide it from you or Mrs Johnson, but I was trying to hide it from Rick."

"Let me put it this way: if you hurt my little girl, well, you can see that I have rather unusual ways of making you pay for it. And believe me, I will use them."

"Yes, sir. I assure you that her happiness is at the very top of my agenda."

"Good," Mr Johnson agreed. "Keep it that way."

"One other thing. I didn't really want to tell Rick about it, yet. I have a pretty good way of keeping it hidden, and I'd like to keep it from him for a bit longer."

"Alright, I won't tell him. Now, what was your real purpose in coming over here? Obviously, it wasn't to see Rick."

"No, I was hoping that Rebecca could help me get back into my own body."

"And now that that is taken care of?"

"I'm not sure, sir. She was expecting me, as Kim, so maybe I'll just stop in with her for a few minutes to let her know that things are ok. And then head home, I suppose."

"That sounds like an excellent plan," Mr Johnson admitted.

"One question for you, sir. Do either Rebecca or Rick know about your abilities?"

"They do not. Keep it that way."

"Yes sir. That was why I asked. Thank you again for your help."

With that, Jim went upstairs to talk with Rebecca briefly, and then headed home.
