When Jim got downstairs, he walked over to Rick, watching a football game in the living room. "Hey dude," he said.
"You're back! Awesome. No one saw you change, did they?"
"No, I managed to duck into the bathroom in time. I told your mom that you were going to be watching this game, and that I'd take Rebecca over to the mall."
"You don't need to do that; I'll take the little brat over," responded Rick.
Jim came back, "That's ok. I don't mind."
"You don't mind!? Since when? You better not be thinking of putting moves on my little sister! Especially after all the noise you were making about Beth," asserted Rick.
"Geeze, calm down, man. I just want to talk to her about Beth for a bit before meeting up tonight."
"Do you need to be Kim when you meet with Beth," Rick asked in a helpful tone (but with a leer on his face).
"Oh crap! She won't recognize me!"
"No shit, Sherlock," acknowledged Rick.
"Keep digging, Watson," responded Jim, automatically.
Just then, Rebecca bounced down the stairs, saying, "Ready!"
Jim shrugged at Rick, and, turning to go, said, "I'll give you a call later, man."
