The feeling of solid ground greeted her feet once more, opening her eyes she saw that she was back on earth.

What she saw before her was a high school, one that she had never been to before, sprawled out in front of her and full of activity. Apparently the bell had just rung signaling the end of the school day as a flood of students exited the building and hurried off to their cars or to the school buses idling in the front.

Needing to find out at least the year and state that she was in she walked towards the bustling building to gather some information.

Deep down she was still troubled and perplexed about what the voice said to her but she knew that she couldn't do anything about it. At least for now. All she could do was find a phone (her cell phone disappeared the moment she first turned into Kim) and call Rick to see if he could make heads or tails of this.

Jim walked up onto the sidewalk passing three guys wearing football jerseys who stopped their conversation when they caught sight of her and scanned every square inch of her body. Jim could make out the faint details of their new conversation that consisted of betting on who was going to be the first one to pop the new girl's cherry.

She sighed as she looked down at herself, seeing the two mounds that she didn't mind showing off to Rebecca/Beth earlier but was now a little creeped out to be advertising them to all of the guys in the area. All of the strangeness with time starting and stopping plus the void with the voice had cleared her mind of the fact that she had reverted back to being Kim. "Great. On top of everything else I'm Kim again. That means that Rick's blend-in spell is back in effect too. I gotta be careful not to attract too much attention or else I'll be 'the new girl' at this school for real. It would be for the best if I kept the number of people who see me to a minimum."

Keeping a low profile, Jim briskly walked over to a brick wall without making eye contact with anyone. She was now out of view of any prying eyes, the closest person was a few feet away but was sitting on the wall with his back to her and he seemed more interested in playing with the wooden box he was holding than paying any attention to her.

Jim leaned back against the wall, contemplating her next move and how she could pull it off without being seen. Suddenly, she heard a pair of sneakers scratch up against the wall on the other side, startling her. Looking up behind her she saw that a red headed girl had climbed up the wall and was now sitting next to the boy.

"Hey, Jon-boy! How's it going? Good break," asked the girl as she scooted next to the boy.

Deciding that it would be for the best if she left the area before the two spotted her eavesdropping, Jim made her way towards the entrance to the school.

The boy non-chalantly responded. "Was okay. You?"

Jim froze in her tracks. "That voice!" It was turned down a few hundred decibels and lacked the aura of hopelessness but it was definitely the voice she heard in the void that transported her here.

Backtracking her steps, she pressed herself up against the wall and curiously listened to the two students converse. It was a long shot but maybe they might talk about something that will shed some light on what was going on.
