Unfortunately for Jim, he had attracted so much attention, from both the dance and the police officer pulling him over, that reality had changed so that the boy Jim never existed, just like Rick said would happen. In this new reality Jim was actually a girl named Kim. But when reality changed, it replaced everyone's memories, including Jim's own. So now Kim had no memory of being Jim at all.
Rebecca pulled Kim close to her and they danced like they had danced to weeks earlier - close and personal. Then a minute into it, Rebecca leaned in and kissed Kim on the lips, causing Kim to immediately back off.
"I thought you liked that," Rebecca said, a bit confused.
"I don't know where you got that idea from," Kim said. "I'm not into girls. Only guys. And right now, the only guy I'm interested in is your brother. I don't think it's appropriate to ..."
Rebecca took a step back. "Of course. I ... I'm not really sure why I did that, actually."
"Just don't do it again," Kim said. "So, who is this guy you're seeing?" she asked, changing the subject.
