Rick responded, "Kim? What do you mean? Are you ok?"
"You were going to help me out with something when we got back from talking to Beth, remember?"
"Oh yeah, the asian chick. You all got back awfully quickly. So did she say she didn't want to see you again, or something?"
"No," Kim answered, "She couldn't make it after all. We'll meet up with her later, I guess. Now can you change me back, so I'm not stuck looking like this?"
Rick looked confused, and said, "Looking like what? You've been this gorgeous for as long as I can remember."
Trying to jog Rick's much-less-reliable-than-usual memory, Kim said, "You cast that spell, so I could 'blend in' at the dance, remember?"
"Babe, you're definitely not 'blending in'."
"God, don't call me babe! Now reverse the spell."
Rick answered, "I don't know what you're talking about, but if I cast something..." He made a few, desultory gestures, and a couple of odd syllables, and continued, "This will get rid of it. Now, where did you want to go tonight?" As he asked that, he put his arm on Kim's shoulder.
Fuming now, Kim threw his arm off, and said, "Never mind. We can talk about it later." With that, she stormed upstairs, and knocked on Rebecca's door. When Rebecca answered, she called, "Rebecca, can you help me out for a little bit?"
"Sure," she answered, "Come on in."
Kim opened the door and walked in on Rebecca changing into something much tighter than she'd seen her wear, before. Blushing deeply, and turning away as she closed the door behind her, Kim said, "I wish you'd told me you were doing that."
"What do you mean? I don't have anything you don't see every day, Kim," answered Rebecca.
"Why are you calling me Kim, Rebecca? You never used to call me that."
"What? That's been your name since you moved here, hasn't it?"
"Can you come with me for a few minutes? I want to show you something, Rebecca."
"Sure, what is it?"
"Just come with me."
"Is is far away, Kim?"
"No, just a short walk."
