Jim pulled the license out, and saw the name on it: Kim Reynolds. Geeze, I hope that was part of Rick's spell, Jim thought. At least I won't get in trouble for having the wrong license.
They handed over the license and registration, and waited for the inevitable. When he brought the ticket over, they noticed it had a 'failure to come to a complete stop' charge to go with the speeding. The policeman finished a quick explanation of what it meant, and then went back to his car.
"I don't suppose you can do anything about this," Jim asked Rebecca.
"I can't. Maybe Rick can, but I don't know if I'd ask. That was a really good try to get out of it, Kim."
"What?"
"I said that was a really good try, Jim."
"Thanks. That was my first time getting pulled over. Geeze, look at me, my hands are shaking. I hope I wasn't doing that in front of him. If we weren't so close, I'd ask you to drive the rest of the way. In the meantime, can you put my clothes back the way they were?"
She did that for him, and finally remembered to put herself back to being Rebecca in body, as well as mind. As Jim suspected, he didn't really see much difference below the neck. How much of that was a function of the baggy outfit, he wondered.
With that, Jim slowly pulled back into traffic, and proceeded home at a much-reduced rate.
