Jon and Zoe collided as she walked out of the bathroom, knocking each other to the floor. "Watch where the fuck you're going!" Jon spat out, the moment he hit the floor.
"Sorry," Zoe apologized.
As the two got up, it was then that they noticed the change that had taken place. Zoe was no longer Goth in the slightest. But Jon was, as was evident.
Zoe was now dressed, well, a lot more normal, wearing a white T-shirt and light pink pajama bottoms, as she hadn't gotten dressed for school yet. Her hair was no longer dyed black and back to its natural brown color, her skin wasn't quite as pale, and all of her gothic make-up was gone. She actually looked rather pretty, actually, though Jon couldn't think of her that way, as she was his sister.
Jon, on the other hand, was wearing a black T-shirt over a fishnet shirt and a pair of black boxer shorts with white skulls printed all over them. His hair was now dyed black and a little longer and shaggier, his skin was pale white, and he actually had some gothic make-up - eyeliner and nail polish.
They both still had their original memories, but they each had to admit that they liked their new looks, as they now had each other's personalities - their likes, dislikes, preferences, etc.
"What's going on? How did this happen?" Zoe asked.
"How the fuck should I know?" Jon lied. He had a very good idea of how this had happened, but he didn't want Zoe to know that.
Since Jon was the start of the chain, he wouldn't be able to swap again, meaning he would stay as a Goth boy, but right now, he actually preferred that, despite his memories. Zoe, on the other hand, would swap with the next person she touched. As for everyone else, reality was now different. Jon was normally supposed to be a Goth and Zoe wasn't. It was very likely that Karyn didn't remember the stone, as she was probably not even Jon's friend in this reality. But who knew?
