Karyn was bewildered by the look of panic in Cecil's eyes. He was always so strong and in control. It's what she admired about the man. But now ... it looked like he had lost all of his confidence. And then he did the most unexpected thing - he got up and scampered out of the room, grabbing his discarded clothes along the way.
"Cecil? Where are you going, baby?" Karyn called out after him. She was really looking forward to having a three-way with him and her hot drunk mom.

Still standing outside his house with the stone, Jon didn't know what the Cecil had done to Karyn, specifically, but he knew that it was probably nothing good, so he made another wish, this one to make her and anyone else no longer affected by Cecil's power over them. Sure, he had taken away Cecil's voice, but that would only mean that he couldn't continue to adjust women's minds with his power to make them unable to "say no" to him, and have them justify to themselves why they weren't rejecting him. This way, everything that happened with Cecil would still have happened, but all the women he had used his power on would "come to their senses" and realize that whatever they had done with Cecil was out-of-character for them and wouldn't do it again.
So with that wish, among other things, Karyn no longer thought she was a slut or wanted to have a three-way with her mother; Alison (Karyn's mother) no longer desired to watch her daughter have sex or get wasted drunk; Linda Masters no longer felt obligated to meet Cecil at the park again, or have the desire to wear tight clothing, or have the desire to have a bigger butt (though the wish she made to have a bigger butt was still in effect); the innkeeper woman at the front desk no longer minded her own business about what Cecil had been up to, bringing all these women to her motel; and all those women he brought there? Yeah, they returned to normal, as well.

Karyn blinked, then looked down at herself. Her eyes wide, she grabbed some bed sheets and wrapped them around her naked body, shuddering at the memories of what she was doing with Cecil and what she was about to do with that man and her own mother! Speaking of her mother ... she looked over and saw her mom passed out in the chair, a bunch of empty sample-size bottles of booze on the floor around her. It relieved Karyn to know that she was so drunk that she was asleep.
Suddenly, Karyn's cellphone rang. She answered it, seeing that it was Jon.
"Jon, thank god! You used a wish to wake me up, right?" Karyn said, relieved.
"Yeah. That guy ... he didn't ... do anything to you, did he?" Jon asked.
Karyn paused, remembering how Cecil had fucked her. At the time, she loved it, as she actually believed that she was the slut that Cecil told her she was. But now, being back to herself ... she realized that the man had essentially raped her. And was about to do the same with her mother! She felt so humiliated and was so glad that nothing really bad happened with her mom. After all, if Jon hadn't intervened, it would have. When under Cecil's power, Karyn couldn't reject anything he said. It wasn't like she wanted to and was unable to. It was more like she agreed with him, thinking it was her own idea. Being woken up now, she could see that her actions weren't her own, that Cecil was the one responsible for them, that he had made her do them. She hoped that nothing like that would ever happen to her or anyone else again. But, with the power of wishing (whether it was a well or a stone), certain people would always crave that sort of thing, unfortunately. But fortunately for her, the person with the power of wishing right now was someone she trusted implicitly - Jon Gibson, who she knew for certain would never use that power the way Cecil had. Jon wasn't a monster, but he was inclined to right the wrongs of others.
"Karyn?" Jon asked, concerned about her long pause.
"He basically raped me, Jon," she said. "You shouldn't let him get away with that."
"I already took away his voice," Jon said.
"Yeah, I noticed that. But you have to do something more."
"Like what?"
"Jon, he forced me to have sex with him, and then he made me think that I wanted to have sex with my mom, and he made my mom want to have sex with us too. It didn't happen. You stopped him first, but still ... he committed a terrible crime. He should get punished for it. He shouldn't be able to get away with it. And from what I remember, me and my mom weren't even his only victims. He did that to other women too. I'm not saying that you should kill him, Jon. I know you're not a murderer and would never forgive yourself or me, for suggesting it, but he has to pay."

Still standing outside his house, Jon looked down at the stone in his hand, and thought about what Karyn told him. He knew that this Cecil guy was a terrible person, but what kind of punishment could he inflict on the man to satisfy Karyn's need for justice?
