That night as Sarah was settling in Zoë arrived home from the mall upset, she had been crying. Jon wanting to know what was the matter asked ," Zoë what made so you upset ?" Zoë answered that she ran into her gothic friends Athena, Sabrina, Zelda, and Stephanie. Zoë went onto say they had an argument because of the way she looked and the answer of why she was no longer a Goth. Zoë said, "she just felt that she was done with the Goth lifestyle but not with their friendship." they didn't see it that way because she dyed her hair back to her original color of a light brown and got rid of her Goth clothes and was wearing a simple white t -shirt blue jeans and brand new sneakers that she had just purchased. Zoë said " They felt that it was a betrayal of their friendship and were hurt by my actions and attitude. Before, I could say anything they left me standing there. So before anyone could ask me what was wrong left the mall and came straight home." Upon here this Jon went over gave his sister a sympathetic hug. Zoë didn't pull away even before when she was a Goth Jon and her still were close enough as brother and sister to listen and comfort one another when they were hurt or sad despite there differences . Like when their grandfather had died recently. Jon said, " Zoë don't cry everything will be ok. Why don't you go get ready for bed and come back to the living room we can talk and I've got a couple of things to tell you." Since it was almost 11:00 P.M. at night and everyone else went to bed already . Normally when Zoë went out on Saturday she wouldn't be home until midnight usually. She was a bit rebellious since their father left their mother, but she had a good head on her shoulders. O.k. so now in making Zoë no longer a Goth I ruined friendship with her closed friends. I have fix this and let her know what is going on her friends and why Sarah McMillan is staying her with us.
