After wandering around the mall towards the arcade they met up with Zoë. Zoë looked a lot different from head to toe. Standing before them was a girl that reminded Jon a lot of what his mother probably looked like as a teenager. Gone was long black hair replace with short light brown bob, light toned makeup in place of the gothic makeup not that she ever was over the top as far as that was a concern. A grey v neck t-shirt , tight faded blue jean, and brand new sneakers showing off her figure replacing what she was wearing earlier. Zoë 's new look would've given the old Sarah run for her money. Not he wanted to think that but she was really pretty when she was younger and even more now .
*She was angry and hurt after what their father did to their family by having an affair with a client from where he worked. He had gotten her pregnant with twins a boy and a girl. Divorcing mom and then moved across the country to a new job and family. At first he kept in contact with all of us kids Jessica our older sister who was a high school senior at the time . I was just going into my freshman year with Karen also with Zoë just entering junior high. Mikey was just in preschool at the time .
That was three years ago and still a was soar subject for all of them but non more than Zoë . She was daddy's little princess . So after he cut all contact off with them Zoë slipped into a depression and was closed off from people was trying to push them away. That's when she meet Athena and the others they broke the wall that she put up. She was angry still but not shell that she was . The change in style and how she acted was fast and non of us where ready for it . Mom and Zoë butted heads constantly after that.
After finding out that even though mom was not fond of all the Goth stuff that your sister was into she was glad that she found her individuality and to be strong again. May be I was a little hasty in getting ride of Zoë's Goth style. I just wanted my sister back to the way she used to be. Before that bastard of a father of ours hurt us.* Snapping back to reality after hearing Zoë call out to them .
"Hey Jon, Karen what' up," asks Zoë ? "Not much heading to the arcade for a few minutes before heading back to the Tat N Pierce ," replied Jon. Zoë looked at you like you had two heads or something after you said that. Before you could speak Karen calmly replied " Zoë you aren't the only one making change in your life 3 fellow class mates of ours wanted to also and invited Jon to checkout what they chose for themselves," answered Karen.
"Who," asked your sister curiously? "Why don't you come with us to find out. But, first why don't we go an put all those bags full of your purchases out into my car so you won't have to lug them around. I can take them home with me later I wouldn't mind. You could hang out with us here little longer and find out. I can give you ride back home when weir done here at the mall so why not head back down there with us after we put your purchases into my car," said Jon.
