"Karyn! Don't ..." Jon started, horrified by what might come out of her mouth next.
"Jon, relax. I'm not going to wish for anything. I'm not even holding the stone right now," Karyn said over the phone. "You gotta stop being so serious. I mean, sure, with a wishing stone, you can do something noble and right a bunch of wrongs, but what's wrong with having some fun too?"
"I ... I just didn't think you'd wish for something so trivial, just to get a laugh out of it." He paused, then said "Okay, maybe I overreacted ... a little."
"Does that mean I can keep the stone for a little longer?" Karyn asked.
Jon still trusted Karyn, as a friend - that hadn't changed. But could he still trust her with what was possibly the most powerful and also dangerous item on the planet? After all, her very first wish gave her Sarah McMillan's best physical assets. And that was a wish that was just on accident. This Mario wish she made ... she did that on purpose. And wishes couldn't be reversed, so Mario and Luigi would always be crossdressers ... though probably just within range of the stone. But still ... he just didn't get the feeling that Karyn had thought things through. What if her next wish had more dire consequences?
So how should Jon answer Karyn's question?
