"I can't believe it. It's a dream come true," Jon's mom said, after Zoe left. "I knew that she'd eventually get out of her Goth phase, but I never thought it would happen now."

Jon decided to use this situation to test out his ability a little more. To see how far he could take it.

"But you liked Zoe as a Goth. You especially liked her outfits."

"You know, you're right. She may not have been the perfect daughter, but at least she was unique. Not a clone like every other girl. Now that she's given it up, I miss it." She suddenly stood up. "Maybe she made a mistake. If she goes through with this, she'll lose her identity. I think I should stop her."

"You're fine with her decision, Mom. Just leave it." Her reaction was a little more intense than he thought it would be.

"You're right. She's almost 15 now. I should respect her decisions. Even if I don't agree with them."

"It almost seems a shame to get rid of all her Goth clothes," Jon said, only adding on the rest as an afterthought. "Since, you always wanted to try on her outfits."

Maybe it was getting a little weird, but Jon wasn't thinking like that. He was on a roll with this new ability. He was too caught up in excitement to envision where this might lead.

"I have always wanted to know what I'd look like as a Goth," his mom said.

"Why not try it right now?"

"That's a good idea," she said, before walking upstairs to Zoe's bedroom.

Once inside, she took off her shirt and pants and proceeded to put on one of Zoe's corsets and torn black skirts. Jon peeked around the corner into the bedroom and saw his mom wearing Zoe's clothes. She was looking at herself in a full-length mirror. In the reflection, she spotted Jon.

"She just threw all these beautiful clothes on the floor," she said.

I wouldn't exactly call them beautiful, Jon thought.

"How do I look?" she asked Jon, turning towards him.

"You look ... like a Goth."

She smiled.
