Laura took in the sight of the woman sitting on the couch. She looked to be in her mid-30's, had long hair, a curvy body, and was black, or maybe mixed-race? The inside of the apartment was a bit dark, so it was kind of hard to tell, the TV really being the only light shining on her body at the moment. And what a body. Laura never really noticed women like that before, but this woman was really attractive, especially with that halter top she was wearing. A name popped into her head - Angela. Yes, this woman's name was Angela. But was she her roommate? That didn't feel quite right. Close, but not ...

Angela stood up and approached Laura, who braced herself. What was she doing? She wrapped her arms around Laura, hugging her. Okay, she was a friend ... but that didn't seem quite right either. Then Angela did something that alarmed Laura. She may have been slowly accepting this new life, but there was at least one thing she was firmly against.

"Or maybe we could spend some time doing something else," she said, with a naughty smile, before planting a kiss on Laura's lips!

Laura pushed the woman off of her, feeling disgusted. Angela wasn't a roommate or just a friend. She was Laura's girlfriend ... as in lover! Ugh, Angela was a lesbian?! Wait, did that make Laura a lesbian? She thought about it, not wanting it to be true. But to her somewhat relief, she knew that she still liked men. So what did that make her? Bisexual? Was ... was she bisexual before? Her memories were continually becoming more and more jumbled, so she wasn't really sure. She didn't think so. Or maybe she was, but was in denial? All of these life changes were too much for the former Baptist woman and too confusing. If only she had some time to sort through her new memories.

"What's wrong, babe?" Angela asked, wondering why her girlfriend had reacted that way.
