One aspect of her wish that Karyn was enjoying was how quickly she could get ready in the morning. She could set Jon's alarm nearly an hour later than she was used to and still get to school with plenty of time to spare. She was a morning person though so had woken up a little bit before her alarm. She lay in bed looking though Jon's phone. She was looking over his class schedule and saw that her and Jon had a double Gym class this morning. The school had been pushing to get more of the students involved in sports and were running a series of trials every Friday morning to try and figure out what sports they could compete in. The first half of the class they were separated into boys doing one sport and girls doing another. Then for the second half they were trying out for mixed sports. This morning they had mixed soccer which had been waybahead of other sports in terms of mixing boys and girls together.

Karyn hated sports, she just wasn't really built for anything but she had accepted that a long time ago. Jon was much better than her being both faster and stronger, although he didn't show a hug amount of interest. Karyn started to worry that Jon might make her look too good compared to the other girls, given that he was physically still himself. She decided one more little wishbwouldnt do any harm. She pulled the stone out of the drawer and gave it some thought, wanting to be very careful in how she worded it. After a few minutes she was ready. She said, "I wish, that at any point if I say to Jon, 'stop being so competitive' his strength and coordination will change to match mine and he will feel less need to show off. He will become much more timid like me and he will find he can only speak in a soft voice with speech patterns to match mine. This will last until my original wish expires... Oh and lastly I wish that Jon won't suspect me making this further wish, he will just think it is part of the original wish." Karyn was satisfied that she had covered everything. She had added the part about his voice after she had a quick thought of Jon roaring at his team mates or shouting like most of the guys usually did.

Ideally, Karyn though, she wouldn't have to activate this wish but it made her more relaxed knowing she could if there was any danger of Jon making her look too competitive.

She put the rock back in its hiding place and jumped out of bed. Gym class was first so she got dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, still annoyed that she couldn't wear a sports bra under her t shirt. She grabbed her bag and ran downstairs for a quick breakfast before heading off to school. She sent Jon a quick text to remind him about the active morning they would be having and to dress appropriately.
