Time skipped again. Jennifer was in the passenger seat now alongside that... woman as they drove down a dark road. The woman had the same brown eyes and black hair as Daniel. That much was clear from moonlight out the window and the light on the passenger mirror.
Confused, Jennifer capped the stick of lipstick that had appeared in her hand and that she had evidently already coated her lips with. "Oh, Jen you don't have to put makeup on. You know I like you with or without and it's not like the person at the front desk will care." Jennifer put the lipstick away, thinking she could have never afforded that normally, and definitely not the purse she just put it in.
She looked over at the woman, "Dana," and got a bright smile back. She smiled back hesitantly and quickly looked away, ignoring how her gaze had found its way to the woman's lips and how she didn't want to look away. She even had her husband's smile. Only close friends and family ever called her Jen. Daniel likewise always stressed how much he loved her with or without makeup, which had been one of her major insecurities. "Dana" was even wearing Daniel's favorite leather jacket, even the same size. No matter how much she hated it, she admitted it looked good over the woman's short floral dress.
"Dana" caught Jennifer's gaze again with a tired smile. "After 6 hours of flying and two hours of driving were finally here."
But they couldn't afford a flight before and... this definitely wasn't Niagra Falls.
Where was here?!
