Jon had never realized how long his mother's toilet took. Returning to her room fully clothed, Jon first had to blow dry his mother's hair. As he did that, he also had to brush it out. Then, with careful direction from his mother, Jon styled his mother's hair as best he could and finished it off with a little hairspray. Next, Linda handed Jon her lipstick. Pursing her lips, Linda leaned forward as Jon deliberately applied it to her lips. After adding a little eyeliner, Linda declared she looked good enough and had Jon pick out some earrings and her watch for her. As he put it on her wrist, Jon glanced at the time. "Oh my gosh!" Jon exclaimed.
"What is it dear?" Linda asked as she checked her reflection one more time.
"Its already 11:00!" Jon replied, "and we finished breakfast at 8:30!"
"Well, it takes time get a woman ready for the day and you're new at it." Linda said. "Now lets get our shoes on."
"Why?" Jon asked.
"Because Monday is grocery shopping day, you know that," Linda grinned as she answered. "We are going shopping!"
