Allison looked up and Karyn. She was crying. "Karyn, help me. I don't want to become like them."
As far as Karyn knew, she couldn't help her. Unless she got her hands on the wishing stone, but right now Derek had it.
But, it seemed, she didn't have to worry, because Allison wasn't turning into an emo girl.
"Huh? How come nothing's happening?" Allison asked. She wasn't disappointed, she was relieved, but she still was curious why she wasn't changing. Was she immune?
"Maybe you were only cut with a normal razor and not one of those black ones," Karyn suggested.
They waited another ten to fifteen seconds and still there was no change. Allison sighed a breath of relief.
"Come on, let's get out of here. We need to tell someone about this."
"But who?" Allison asked. "Who would believe us?"
