Thinking quickly, Jon said "We're just visiting." That was actually kind of true. They were visitors, just not by choice.
"Well, if you decide to become members, just go in there and pick up a pamphlet," the woman said, pointing towards a nearby building. Then she walked off.
"Jon, how is any of this possible?" Karyn asked.
"What do you mean?"
"If the stone did this, then how could we be here? I thought the stone had a limited range of a few miles."
Jon thought for a moment. Karyn was right. There's no way that ...
Suddenly, Jon stopped and stared.
"What is it?" Karyn asked, turning to look.
"It's ... my sister," Jon said. It was Zoe alright, but she looked tanned and hot and totally not Goth. "What's she doing here?" Then Jon noticed other familiar people. There was Kyla Leeson (no longer looking geeky), Sarah McMillan (looking just as hot as usual), and his own mother. They were all dressed in skimpy bikinis.
What Jon hadn't realized yet was that Sabrina's wish couldn't send Jon and Karyn to Hawaii (because of the range limitation), so it instead brought Hawaii to them. The wishing stone had turned Jon's hometown into a Hawaiian beach! And all the town residents had changed to match the new setting!
