Steve, followed by Amber and Sabrina, walked to his locker and opened it. This was the first time the "real" Steve saw his new appearance. Well, his head, anyway. In the mirror attached to his locker door, he was shocked to see his pale face, black painted lips, black lined eyes, and the several piercings in his ears, nose, and lip. Around his neck, he saw a spiked collar. And on top of his head, a spiky blue-dyed mohawk!
Oh my god! Steve yelled in his mind. I'm a freak! He tried to close his eyes. He didn't want to see it anymore. But he had no control over his body. He was forced to see himself in the mirror.
He watched as his hand grabbed books from inside the locker. As far as he could tell, his hands were normal enough, although a bit pale. Then his hand closed the door and his body turned towards the two Goth girls, who were talking to each other as they waited for him.
Then they began to walk further down the hall again.
When will this end? Steve asked in his head. He received no answer.
