"Hey, Trevor," Stephanie Wright (another Goth) said. "I was just wondering. Do you know if Biff is still coming to the party on Wednesday?"
Trevor stopped and stared at her. "Why the fuck would you want Biff there?"
Stephanie looked at him oddly. "Why wouldn't I? The party is exclusively for Goths and Biff is Goth, so ..."
"Biff is what?" Trevor asked, astonished. Maybe Stephanie was making a joke, trying to be funny. But it was a little late for an April Fools' joke.
"Biff's a Goth. Trevor, what's wrong with you? You've known Biff for years. You know he's the only other Goth boy at school. You remind us of that all the time, actually."
What was happening? Biff a Goth? No way. He just saw Biff a few minutes ago. And he was most definitely not a Goth. So what the fuck was going on?
Thanks to the way Mikey made his sticky note wish, anyone associated with the wish on the note doesn't get their memories changed to fit the new reality. So, in this case, that's Biff and Trevor.
Biff couldn't stop staring at himself. Not because he liked what he saw, of course, but because he was in total shock. Over and over in his head, he tried to think how this could have happened. Then suddenly he remembered that note. The yellow one he found on the floor. He had picked it up and read it, then threw it away ... and that's when he started feeling dizzy. As strange as it seemed, that must have been what changed him.
He tore his attention away from the mirror and walked back to the trash can. Lying at the top of the garbage heap was a crumpled up yellow piece of paper. That was it! He reached down and grabbed it, then started to open up the note.
