Jen felt relived as the car pulled up to her house. Dinner with Chris hadn't been bad. Actually, it had felt normal. Like they had done all of that dozens of times. Which they had from a certain perspective. That was bothering Jen more than anything else. That it felt normal, felt nice? It implied the mental changes that Holloway had inflicted ran deeper than she thought, or that they were still coming. Either was concerning and kind of pushed up the need for answers. Or solutions, and the stone was the only real path to a solution that they had.

She turned her attention to Chris and smiled. It was so easy, almost practiced. She could slip right into being Jen when she needed to. "Thanks for dinner and the ride."

"Don't mention it, babe," Chris said. He leaned in and kissed her, and she kissed back. They briefly made out, his hands exploring her body just a bit more than the Jon part of her was comfortable with, even as the Jen part knew she was used to this.

She broke the kiss and put a hand on his cheek. "Pretty sure my parents will freak if they look out the window and see us doing that."

"Well, I wouldn't be psyched about the audience, so I guess we can stop. Begrudgingly," Jen rolled her eyes and kissed him again. "Pick you up for school tomorrow?" he asked.

"If you're not sick of me."

"Never," he said. She smiled and climbed out of the car and made her way into the house. She said her hellos to her parents and situated herself. She hopped into the shower, eager to wash the chlorine off herself, and used that time to consider her options. Holloway's magic was powerful, clearly. It had changed them, she implied she could actively change them again, and it might have been slowly changing them. If things kept going, would she even want to change back at the end of the month, once this cheer competition that they had talked about earlier was done? If she became too accustomed to this life, then would that be it?

Finished with her shower, Jen wrapped a towel around herself and returned to her room. She glanced at the box with the stone in it as she entered and bit her lip, considering. She grabbed the stone and sat on her bed, staring at it. "This is above and beyond just interesting. You could have, I don't know... made it snow even though it's spring. That would have been interesting. Or anything besides 'there's now a magical cheerleading coach who's going to turn you and a bunch of other guys into cheerleaders'."

It didn't react, didn't give any indication that it was listening or that it was capable of listening. She had wondered if there was some greater force behind the thing. Something had to interpret the wishes, right? Something had opted to create Ms. Holloway, to push her to do all of this. If they could figure out who or what that force was, maybe they could work around the wishes. Or maybe-

Her phone chimed, and she reached over to grab it. It was a text from Chris.

Chris <3: Miss you already

Jen rolled her eyes and smiled, then fired off her response.

You: It's been like 45 minutes

Chris <3: So you don't miss me?

She considered for a moment, not sure what she wanted to type. The two sides of her, Jon and Jen, warred for a moment. Finally, she decided.

You: Of course I do

Chris <3: What you up to?

You: Just showered, needed the chlorine off of me

Chris <3: Oh really?

Jen smiled, knowing what that was trying to prompt. A picture, something a little risque. It was something of a game, a little flirting. It unnerved the Jon part of her enough that she hesitated, and that hesitation led to other thoughts. Remembering how he had glanced at Karyn, how she had felt like she wasn't worthy of him in that moment. Those thoughts brought up older memories of Jens, catching him checking out Karyn or Sarah, even Tiffany Sanders before this reality's version of her was caught with major drugs and left the school.

It was stupid. She knew it was just glances, that he was with her and that counted more than the occasional look somewhere else. She knew she shouldn't even care, because they hadn't been together before Friday in actuality, and that she was supposed to be a guy. None of those thoughts did much to help her. She groaned, falling back on her bed. "God, I wish I didn't feel like this." The stone warmed in her hand, and she could see the flash of light out of the corner of her eye. She gasped, but the air was stolen as a wave of magic washed over her.

Looking down, she could see that her towel was now being pushed out by larger breasts. It felt like her butt was a little less covered, too. That had been a stupid fucking wish. She dropped the stone to her bed and turned her focus to her phone. She read Chris' message again and bit her lip, and like a switch was flipped she slipped into Jen mode. With no reason to be jealous, she focused on the more immediate situation.

She took a moment to position herself, letting the towel slide a bit down her newly enhanced chest to show more cleavage. She took a picture and sent it off, only realizing after it was sent how close she had come to exposing her crotch in the shot.

Chris <3: Beautiful, really crushed we had to stop our fun in the driveway. To be continued tomorrow?

He followed that up with a picture of him in a towel, probably ready to go into the shower. She had to imagine this conversation had pushed him to do that. She could see the front of the towel had a telling bulge. That was... complicated to think about. She replied with some emojis, letting what felt natural take over, and then Chris went to shower. When he got back, they kept chatting for a bit before they each said they needed to sleep. Once the conversation was done, Jen looked at the stone, still on her bed.

"Why are you doing this?" she asked it. "Why twist my wishes? You could have just made me not jealous, but instead you give me these?" she asked, grabbing her newly enhanced chest. She sighed, grabbing the stone and walking back over to the box. She hesitated as she was about to drop it inside. "I... I wish that I am the only person capable of opening this box regardless of what form I may be in." She smiled as the stone flashed, glad that she remembered to add that last bit. Better to have something in place for if she managed to get turned back.

That done, she got into pajamas and set her phone to charge then went to bed.
