"There's got to be a way to reverse what's happened to us," Athena said.
"Us?" Biff asked.
"I told you," Athena said. "I'm not supposed to be a Prep. I'm supposed to be a Goth."
Jay and Biff exchanged odd glances. It was hard for them to picture Athena as anything other than what she was now. Especially a Goth, which was nearly the opposite.
"Look, you don't have to believe me," Athena said. "But I'm sure you want to find a way to reverse these wishes right? Unless you want to stay as a geek forever."
"Hell no," Biff said. "The less time I spend in this existence, the better."
"Being a geek isn't a bad thing, you know," Jay said.
"Says the biggest dweeb in school," Biff said.
"That's enough," Nadine said. "So how do we fix this?"
"You're the witch. Shouldn't you already know?" Biff asked.
"I'm not a witch! Not until I read that note, anyway."
"Oh, there you are," a girl's voice said suddenly.
Athena turned around and saw Sarah McMillan approaching her.
"What are you hanging out with these losers for?" she asked.
It pained Biff to hear the girl, that up until ten minutes ago had been his girlfriend, call him a loser. He needed to get rid of this new life quick and get his old one back. Sarah couldn't even look at him.
"They're not losers," Athena said.
"Whatever. Listen, I just wanted to remind you that cheerleading tryouts are during sixth period today. I want us to look good in front of the recruits, so you better do your best."
"Great, not only am I a Prep, I'm a fucking cheerleader too," Athena mumbled.
"Did you say something?" Sarah asked.
"No," Athena lied. She turned and saw that Biff and the others were gone. "Hey, where'd they go?"
"Forget about them," Sarah said. "You shouldn't be seen hanging around losers like them anyways. It's bad for your image."
Oh, goddess, Athena thought, rolling her eyes. She's a real piece of work.
