Suddenly, Athena had an overwhelming urge to read the note. It was almost like a sense of magnetism, forcing her towards it against her will. Being a student of the occult, Athena was very sensitive when it came to forms of magic. Whatever this note was, it was using unusually strong magic. Athena just couldn't pull away.
She bent down and grabbed the note, then began to open it.
"Hey, I thought you told us not to read it," Nadine complained. When Athena didn't acknowledge her, Nadine became a little concerned (just a little - she still didn't really care about this Goth girl). "Athena? Hello?"
Still ignoring Nadine, Athena began to read the note. "I wish that I would become more like the person I last made fun of." Then she blinked, as the changes to herself started to occur.
