Yea, that's fair.
I had offered ages ago to do the FB3 upgrade but Zach never wanted anyone else to do it. Perl is horribly inefficient. REally the site should be written in something newer and less CPU intensive (and more SQL friendly) like PHP or ASP.
What did you pick? or are you just optimizing the Perl?
