As they were escorted to the office, Randy looked down at his bizarre outfit, from his fishnet shirt to his black leather skirt. What was he? Some sort of gothic cross-dresser? But the thing that was really bizarre was his body. Just less than an hour ago, Randy was one of the most muscular guys in school. He had to be, considering he was on the football team. But now, his arms and chest weren't muscular in the slightest. He was lanky and he was pale. Someone could just swap his outfit for another. But change his body? That was completely abnormal, which made him immediately think of black magic. Given Randy's limited knowledge of Goths (he picked on them a lot, but all he knew about them was that they were freaks), he assumed that all of them were into witchcraft or at least something to do with the occult. One of Trevor's friends was, but Trevor himself wasn't. And even then, it wasn't a Goth who made this possible. It was a 10-year old boy named Mikey Gibson.
After they entered the main office, they were directed towards the row of "waiting room" chairs.
"Sit," the hall monitor ordered.
Randy sat down, but Trevor didn't. At least, not right away. He stood there, glaring at the guy for a few seconds, then took a seat. Randy looked down the row of chairs and saw that they were all empty except for the last one, which was being occupied by that tree hugger hippie chick Margaret Wood. They probably caught her protesting again.
As they waited, Randy looked down at his nails, which were just as trimmed as before, but were now coated with black polish. And his hands were so pale. He looked up at the secretary, who he noticed was looking at him. "What?" he asked. But instead of answering, the woman just shook her head and went back to whatever she was doing. He hadn't seen his reflection yet, but given how people were reacting to him, he must have looked just as freakish as Trevor.
Then, a few minutes after Randy found himself fingering the metal spikes that protruded from his spiked collar, the door to the principal's office opened and the principal walked out.
