Trevor reached down for the pieces of the note, but before he could grab them, Randy slapped his hand away and shook his head "no". He would have told him "no" out loud, but he didn't want to risk getting sent to the office. Mr. Donaldson already gave him two warnings.
The Goth boy glared at Randy. Apparently, he didn't like that he touched him. But instead of making a big deal about it, he turned his attention back to his doodling, only glancing at the torn up note every couple of minutes.
When the class was finally over, Randy was the first one to stand up and leave. He wanted to rectify his situation as soon as possible. Breaks between classes were only five minutes, but that was enough time to swap out the leather skirt he was wearing for a pair of jeans. The lipstick was another matter, but one thing at a time.
After everyone left Mr. Donaldson's classroom, including the teacher, Trevor looked down and picked up the pieces of the note and stuffed them in his wallet. The pieces were never lined up side-by-side, so he wasn't forced to read it. The note was still technically in its "destroyed" state. He figured that he could just examine it later.
