Nadine nearly jumped when someone put their hand on her shoulder.
"Nadine, it's just me," the girl behind her said. Nadine turned around and sneered when she saw who it was. It was one of those Goths. Zoe, she thought her name was.
"Don't touch me," she said.
"What? What's wrong?"
Then realization came to Nadine. "You did this to me. Didn't you?"
"Did what?"
"Dressed me up this way, dyed my hair." She paused, recollecting what happened to her. "I felt dizzy. What did you do? Drug me and then play this prank on me?"
"Nadine, I don't know what you're talking about," Zoe said. "You were dressed that way when I saw you come to school. And you've had your hair dyed for the last three years."
Nadine looked around and saw people giving her bad looks. It was how a lot of people treated the Goth crowd. And now they were treating her like that.
"Nadine, tell me. What's wrong?"
"Just stay away from me," she snapped, pushing Zoe aside and walking away.
Zoe just stood there, watching her friend walk away. She had never seen Nadine act so ... unlike herself. It was actually a bit disturbing.
Meanwhile, Biff was still searching for the note. He was now absolutely certain that it had something to do with his "transformation". If he got his hands on it, maybe he could figure out who wrote it or where it came from. He didn't intend on staying as a geek forever.
