The magic stone everything coming from it had a tendency to be one step forward, one step back, thought Jon. He was hoping it would keep on being "back" for a while. "Okay, Karyn. I wish that Mikey's notes are all here inside a cardboard box that I can't see through."
In front of him appeared a cardboard box.
"Now I wish to have a book of matches." Jon felt around in his pockets, and there they were. He didn't have much experience lighting them and it took a few tries, but he managed to get one lit. Holding the match to one flap on top of the batch, he managed to set it on fire. Quickly he stood up, exited the room, and rushed to the bathroom, where he dumped the whole thing in the tub and let it burn.
Jon wouldn't give up the stone for the rest of the night, which is probably what he should have done to begin with. It doesn't make sense to leave it at home without taking precautions. He went with his friends to see the school's football game, and almost forgot his problems, except for one incident. His friend Joseph kissed him. When Jon acted surprised, he replied "You're still the girl I knew since fifth grade, Jon. Besides, if someone thinks I'm kissing a boy, you know nobody minds it around here anyway."
Jon just dismissed it as a change in reality he'd have to cope with until he was at home and midnight rolled around. He was lying in his bed and suddenly felt disturbed at the idea that a boy thinks of him that way. He knew it was time and got out the stone, modifying Zoe's previous wish to fix himself.
"I wish that Zoe had a penis before the first notepad wish, so when we swapped genitals it just made us normal."
Nothing happened. He turned on the light and stared at the stone, finally saying "I wish I knew what went wrong." Of course, Zoe's wish made this one impossible, since they would no longer have swapped pussy to pussy if Zoe had a penis....
