Several hours into their gaming session, Andrew's mom called out from the top of the stairs, "Andrew! One of your friends is here!"
Without thinking, he yelled back, "Okay, Mom!"
They continued their fight until another voice interrupted them. "Hey, guys," Jason said, taking a seat next to Becky. "I didn't know you'd be here."
"Yeah, I'm here, so what?" Becky replied, already on the defensive.
"Oh, nothing, nothing," Jason said, a smug smile on his face. "Only, I didn't think your folks would let you go into a basement alone with a boy. Don't they know what you could be--"
"Shut up, Jason," Andrew snapped, putting his controller down and standing up. "Don't talk to her like that."
Jason stood up as well, cracking his neck. "Calm down, I just came over for a friendly game of Brawl. But since you're here with your little girlfriend I think I'll just go, so you can go back to doing whatever it is you two are doing down here in the dark," he said, smirking and walking back upstairs before Andrew could say anything.
Becky stared at the TV, blushing furiously, looking almost ready to cry, though her eyes were dry. Andrew sat back down, looking at his controller for a moment before reaching an arm out to her across the couch. She leaned easily into it, wrapping an arm around him as well, thought she was still staring resolutely at the TV. Slowly she wrenched her gaze away and buried her head in his shoulder, and Andrew patted her on the back. They just sat there for the longest time, Becky slowly inching closer to him until her breasts were pushing against his chest, a supremely strange feeling for both of them. "Thanks, buddy," she mumbled, and he just nodded.
