There was no doubt in Benny's mind; he was becoming a girl now. It was only a matter of time before his body matched what was between his legs, but he hoped his mind never matched it. He'd always be Benny, wouldn't he?
He hadn't left the house in weeks now, and he was sure his friends' voices had all deepened. His voice had only become higher. "Mom? Can I go out with my friends when I'm done with my homework?" He called out to the house, hoping she was nearby to hear.
"Really?" She walked into the room, beaming at him. "I'm glad for you, honey. Of course you can. Just be extra careful, okay?"
He sighed, rolling his eyes. As if he wanted anyone to find out. "Yeah, mom. I just miss everyone. No one will find out." He wouldn't be able to hang out with them anymore soon, if his chest kept growing, so he wanted to spend time with his friends while he could.
"You do know you won't be able to see them again soon unless it's as a girl?" He nodded. "Yeah, mom. I know."
The first to answer his cell phone was Andrew. "Hey, Benny. Where've you been? Everyone said you're being home schooled now... seriously, is something wrong?" Benny shook his head before realizing Andrew couldn't see it. "Nah, I'm fine. I just wanna hang out again. Are you guys doing anything?"
"We're all out at the arcade by the mall. Everyone said you called. No one wants to see you right now, Benny. They're pissed." Benny heard other voices yelling from the other end of the phone. "Shut up! I know he's got a good reason for being gone. Come on over, Benny. We're all waiting to see you." Andrew yelled over them, and Benny smiled. Maybe he wasn't so bad.
